Problem:
C3S was consulted to evaluate the condition of a parking garage after it was damaged by a fire incident.
Evaluation Method/Process:
Analytical methods were used to perform this evaluation:
- Petrographic analysis
- Compressive strength test
- Visual analysis
Findings:
Compressive strength test yielded results between 4,300 psi and 6,860 psi which is satisfactory.
Petrographic analysis showed that six of the samples examined were undamaged; the other three sustained only minimal moderate damage. None of the samples sustained any serious damage.
